Seth joined Merge in 2018. He is a registered architect with a background in high caliber institutional projects incorporating sophisticated material detailing and innovative sustainability strategies. At Merge he has played a central role in the expansion of the offices’ portfolio of civic work. In addition to leading multiple projects for the City of Boston, Seth continues Merge’s long standing relationship with Northeastern University as the manager of multiple projects for the university’s growing campus in San Jose, California. Seth also leads the firm’s proposal writing efforts and plays an active role in design and technical project review within the office.
Prior to joining Merge, Seth was an Associate at Kyu Sung Woo Architects, where he managed the design and construction of the 300 bed, 100,000 square foot Greenway Residences for Amherst College, and a Project Manager at Kennedy Violich Architecture, where he managed design and construction for the Tozzer Hall Anthropology Building on the Harvard University campus.
He holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design (GSD) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Seth has taught design studios at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, and at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in the Career Discovery Program.
