Jamie joined Merge in 2011. He has since been integral to the firm’s growth and to the shaping of its creative outlook. He has designed and managed many of the signature projects in the office’s portfolio. These have ranged from new construction multi-family housing to complex commercial interiors. In addition to his design and management efforts, Jamie manages Merge’s marketing efforts, website, and media asset library.
A recent focus of his work at Merge has been ‘missing middle’ housing, having designed and managed both the multi-family Modern Mill and duplex River Houses at Cable Mills in Williamstown, MA. He is following these successful projects by leading schematic design on a large mixed-use development in Cambridge, MA. He also recently anchored a team that developed a ‘Six-Not-So-Flat’ for the Chicago Architecture Center’s Come Home: Missing Middle Infill Housing competition.
Prior to joining Merge, Jamie was a designer at Morphosis in Los Angeles, Epiphyte-Lab in Ithaca, New York, and Studio Luz in Boston. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, where he received the AIA Henry Adams Medal and Certificate of Merit.
He recently moved to Nashua with his partner, two daughters, and pup to live out their dream of renovating and living in a mid-century modern home.
