Seth Hoffman has extensive experience in all phases of design on a variety of high caliber institutional projects incorporating sophisticated material detailing and innovative sustainability strategies. Seth's talent lies in the synthesis of technical knowledge, uncompromising attention to detail, and a strong design sensibility.
Prior to joining MERGE in 2018, Seth was an Associate at Kyu Sung Woo Architects, where he managed the design and construction of the 300 bed, 100,000 square foot Greenway Residences for Amherst College, and a Project Manager at Kennedy Violich Architecture, where he managed design and construction for the Tozzer Hall Anthropology Building on the Harvard University campus.
He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Seth has taught design studios at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, and at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in the Career Discovery Program.
