Cassie joined Merge in 2022. She received a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Vassar College. Cassie previously worked in film and advertising in New York and Prague before turning to architecture. Her academic work at the GSD, which was recognized with several competition awards, focused primarily on affordable housing design and development.
Cassie’s Master thesis, ‘Re-Investing in Home’, speculated transformative interventions on the ubiquitous Boston triple decker typology in an effort to generate more affordable homes within a neighborhood’s existing housing stock.
In her free time, Cassie enjoys traveling around New England and stumbling upon quirky historical architecture.
